Pc-Check Windows Operating System Autopilot Test Failure Information

Group Number 681X

Device Operating System

This group tests the Operating System running on the computer. This diagnostic group is specifically for the Microsoft® Windows® operating system.

An operating system (OS) is software that manages computer hardware and software resources and provides common services for computer programs, and is an essential component of the system software in a computer system. In the case of hardware functions such as input and output and memory allocation, the operating system acts as an intermediary between programs and the computer hardware, although the application code is usually executed directly by the hardware and will frequently make a system call to an OS function or be interrupted by it.

What is Autopilot?

Windows Autopilot is an IT deployment service used to set up and pre-configure new Windows devices.

Test Number 313 Autopilot

This test checks if Autopilot is supported and configured on the system. This test checks the information and configuration of the system and will not be able to detect Autopilot if the system BIOS has been wiped but is still enrolled online. To support Autopilot the BIOS serial number must be configured as well as the system hardware hash or system manufacturer and model.

PARAM10 Check Enabled

Check if Autopilot is enabled if True, otherwise only check if Autopilot can be supported.

PARAM11 Pass if Enabled

Pass if configured and enrolled for Autopilot if set to True, otherwise Pass if not configured or enrolled when set to False.
