The following may appear when booting from a Eurosoft USB Program Device. The “License Error” message appears because the license file version does not match the product version. The reason for this maybe one of following:

  • The Eurosoft USB Program Device has not been upgraded to the latest release
  • The license file has not been replaced on the USB Device after upgrade
  • The license file is configured in error
  • There is a previous license file remaining on the USB device

The Eurosoft USB Program Device has not been upgraded to the latest release
Please download the update for Pc-Check UEFI. Insert your Eurosoft preferred USB program device then run the update ensuring to follow the on screen instructions.  After updating re-apply the license file to the program device as follows:
pccheckuefi.lic into \EFI\BOOT
The license file has not been replaced on the USB Device after upgrade
If the USB device has been updated to the latest release apply the new license file to the program device as follows:
pccheckuefi.lic into \EFI\BOOT.

If you do not have the latest license file please request them from Eurosoft Support@eurosoft-uk.com including your Company and Contact name.

The license file is configured in error

If you have added the latest license file and it is still displaying the error please request a replacement license from Eurosoft Support@eurosoft-uk.com including your Company and Contact name.

There is a previous license file remaining on the USB device
If the USB device has been updated to the latest release apply the new license file to the program device as follows:
pccheckuefi.lic into \EFI\BOOT.

Ensure that no existing license file remains on the USB device, the most likely location for this previous license file will be the ROOT folder location.
