The following may appear when booting from a Eurosoft USB Program Device. The “Missing Resource” message appears because a file is no longer present on the device. The reason for this maybe one of following:

• The file on the USB Program Device is missing or deleted
• The file on the USB Program Device is corrupt
• The file on the USB Program Device is in the wrong location

Missing Resource.

The file on the USB Program Device is missing or deleted

If the file is missing or deleted, Pc-Check UEFI will stop working as normal after displaying the Missing Resource message. To recover the device to its original state please follow the instructions below.

1. Download the following file from Recover USB to Factory RecoverUSBtoFactory_PCC-PCCU.zip.
2. Unzip Recovery Package:  C:\...\Downloads\RecoverUSBtoFactory_PCC-PCCU.zip to a temporary location.
3. Insert the Blue Eurosoft USB Program Device Plug you wish to recover.
4. Execute Runme.bat from the RecoverUSBtoFactory_PCC-PCCU directory C:\...\Downloads\RecoverUSBtoFactory_PCC-PCCU\Runme.bat
5. Follow the instructions to run the program on your Windows PC:
   1. Press [Y] key to continue or [N] to exit the tool.
   2. Your media is now bootable and can be used in the normal way.
6. Finally add the ‘pccheck.lic’ and/or ‘pccheckuefi.lic’ license files to the plug, these will have been sent by email. If you do not have the license files, please request them from Eurosoft ‘support@eurosoft-uk.com’, including your Company and Contact name.

The file on the USB Program Device is corrupt

If the file is damaged or corrupt, Pc-Check UEFI will stop working as normal after displaying the Missing Resource message. To recover the device to its original state please follow the instructions above.

The file on the USB Program Device is in the wrong location

If the file is in the wrong location, Pc-Check UEFI will stop working as normal after displaying the Missing Resource message. Either try moving the file to the correct location or to recover the device to its original state please follow the instructions above.
